Boy oh boy, how the races have changed. First of all you never see
Derby winners race any more. They use to get injured by June (see
Wayne Lukas)....now they just retire..how refreshing it is to be able
to see a horse like Curlin run...just hope ya got the plane fare to
Dubai.
And the tracks? Cushion track? Polytrack? what's wrong wih turf?
What's next orthopedic horse shoes?
And a horse with only 3 lifetime races- the possible favorite in
the Derby 2008.
Time was, a horse like that had no chance to win...but this year
it is such a weak looking crop of three year olds a couple of fillys
are considering running in the Derby
And try to place a bet on a horse race...computers/
the internet age? It just seems like everyone
is doing everything bass ackwards.
The one bright light I see in the tunnel is this year's Derby is going
to be a real handicapping puzzle..with all these horses coming off
the different surfaces..and horses running poorly when they should
run well and vice versa..it will be nice to see them all run on dirt
and may the best horse win...lets just hope the best horse is in the
race.

Tomicito and Atoned are the leading contenders for
the Lexington and both are hoping a share of the winners purse will
put them in the Derby.

to take shape and the final prospects are vieing for the final post
positions available in this weeks Lexington Stakes. There are several
horses on the bubble so the Lexington Stakes being run on Saturday
4/19 will determine if any new horses can get into the starters gate.
Tomcito and Atoned are the top contenders but there may well be some
surprises as there have been surprises all spring long. Get Lexington

They say the Kentucky Derby is one of the toughest races to hadicap
, and if that's true it speaks very well of our handicapper Mike Kelsy
because he has won the Derby in 4 of the last 5 years including 2
exactas. And he has had a winning Derby day 5 years straight. The
only year he didn't win the Derby was when Giacomo won..and he hit
a $769 exacta i the 1st race that day..and as we know Giacomo only
won I think 1 more race over the next couple years.

this years Derby shapes up as an excellent opportunity to make some
real cash as the wacky way things have gone this spring itwould seem
any horse ccan win the Derby...but Mike has noticed one very important
detail that has not been mentioned much and it will carry us to victory
and more winnings again this yera.

The fact is the biggest days have been the winningest day for TheDerbyWinner
and it's handicapper Mike Kelsy- 5 winning Derby days in 5 years on
line. 5 Winning Preaknesses including last year 8 winners in a row
at Pimlico and the Afleet Alex/ Scrappy guaranteed winning Preakness-exacta
paid $150..and we predicted a week before the race offering it as
a guaranteed pick...the Breeders Cup he has been off the hook..these
big days of racing e are up over $4,000 net profit..hey the secret's
out but that hasn't stopped us from winning real money week after
week.
